Saving trace view data is controlled by Save Trace check box in the top menu. "Save Trace" is enabled by default. The trace files are saved in to a directory based on the in the filed Trace User Directory settings. The trace information is saved in to two separate files, one for kit information (qtsk) and one for the trace data (qtst).
Each trace file is restricted to 5MB size and trace data larger than this size will be saved into separate files. A long running trace session usually contains several files. A scroll bar will be enabled for moving between trace files in a session.
Trace files can be opened using Open Trace File option in the top menu. Move the slider to desired position of time to analyse the touch data. User can re-view the captured data in that session by clicking play button.
