The Atmel STK500 has two headers for usage when configured for parallel programming. These two headers are labeled ‘PROG DATA’ and ‘PROG CTRL’. For the ATtiny26/861 the cable for the ‘PROG CTRL’ will have to be modified as the shown on the table and drawing below, and the cable from ‘PROG DATA’ will have to be connected to PORTA.
The ATtiny26/861 is also supported by the STK505 Top Module for easier strapping.
