How do I Reuse My AVR Studio 4 Projects with the New Atmel Studio?

  1. 1.Click the menu File→Import AVR Studio 4 project.
  2. 2.An 'Import AVR Studio 4 Project' dialog will appear.
  3. 3.Type in the name of your project or browse to the project location by clicking the Browse button of the APFS File location Tab.
  4. 4.Name the new solution resulting from the conversion of your project in the Solution Folder Tab.
  5. 5.Click Next.
  6. 6.Atmel Studio will proceed with conversion. Depending on the complexity and specificity of your project there might be some warnings and errors. They will be shown in the Summary window.
  7. 7.Click Finish to access your newly converted project.
